The modern ceramic vase was made with the "colombino" shaping technique, finished and decorated by hand in a single example. The work, which represents a piece of contemporary art, is created in a modern style by the artist Bianca Maria Scarinci. All the reliefs and shapes of the decoration as a whole are highlighted by the crystalline and the dripping enamel.
The Colombino process involves the creation of clay "bigoli", i.e. drawn cords which are attached one above the other starting from the base. This process allows you to obtain rounded, cylindrical, flared, conical, irregular objects, even large ones, etc. In particular, several hours of work were required to model the vase with clay pots. The transparent crystal is both inside and outside. You can pour water inside the vase, for example.
